My succulent garden: I am not a fan of lawns. I admit I just don't understand the aesthetic appeal. One of the first things my partner and I did when we moved into our house was replace the lawn with a succulent garden. One of the nice things about the garden is that the majority of the plants are winter growers so the garden comes to life during the dreary California winter.
